We are by reputation, the most prestigious, elegant and luxurious hotel in the north of Nigeria. Tahir Guest Palace Hotel, founded in 1994, has been considered an icon for hotels to follow. Since our opening, we have provided first class accommodation to the people of Nigeria, holiday makers and important dignitaries and business people from around the world.
Our hotel was the place of choice for former U.S Secretary of State, Madeline Albright, President of the World Bank and football stars from the 1999 Junior World Cup and the African Nations Cup 2000 which took place in Nigeria.More recently, we successfully hosted upto 7 nations (U.S.A, Spain, UAE, Malawi, Italy, Uruguay, Burkina Faso) during the 2009 FIFA under 17 World Cup.
Initially opened as Tahir Guest Inn when our Chairman Mr. Tahir Fadlallah decided that the city of Kano did not have a suitable hotel to accommodate its people or its visitors. He had a vision; to offer the people of Kano excellent accommodation and services. With a focus on luxury, space, comfort, good value, customer services and maintenance. Today we have over 300 rooms.
